I figured it was time to officially begin a blog since Kenneth and I are 26 weeks and counting from babyland! We had our second appointment on Valentine's day. After our ultrasound, our doctor (Dr. P) told us everything looked great! We made an official announcement on Facebook and MySpace, and I do believe we surprised quite a few people. By the way, I will say it is much easier to make that announcement via Facebook and MySpace...you let ALL of your friends know within seconds.
I must admit, we were quite surprised ourselves. But this could not be a more blissful and heavenly surprise! We were planning on waiting until after Kenneth finished Law School, but God had different plans, and we are willing and ready to venture into parenthood a bit early. I am due August 25, 2008, and Kenneth will graduate in May 2009. We are both very excited, and we continue to grow more excited as I am beginning to feel (a little) better and as my waist is beginning to grow. I promise to post belly pictures as soon as there is an official belly to take a picture of.

I will try to post as regularly as I can. There is not much other news at the moment. We will discover whether it is a boy or girl in April, so stayed tuned for that juicy bit of information!

I am so glad that are going to be blogging. It is such a great way to let your family and friends see what goes on in your everyday life. With a baby your parents will want to see pictures of every single thing that baby does. Plus you realize just how funny your friends are by reading their blogs. I have really funny friends and didnt really realize it until I started reading their blogs. I am so happy for yall and I am glad that I will be able to keep up and see what is going on with you guys. Love ya Randi
