Six Months Stats

So big...

This is Michael's first time sitting in a high chair at a restaurant, and he was very proud of himself. Kenneth and I went to Milo's after church on Sunday and decided to try Michael in a high chair. It was so nice that he could sit in it because we won't have to lug his infant carrier in and out of restaurants anymore. And, he really enjoyed sitting up and looking around while we ate. Yay!

Michael had his 6 month well visit today with Dr. D. I was planning on leaving right after the busses left school to make it to his 3:00 appointment by 3:15, but an unexpected tornado warning had the entire school in duck and cover mode until 3:15. Grrrr. I am thankful that Kenneth was able to take him and that I could trust Kenneth to address the issues I wanted to discuss with Dr D had I been there.

Anyway, Michael received a great report. Dr. D said that his right ear may be a little infected, so he wrote a prescription but wants us to wait a week to see if Michael can fight it off himself. He also got another round of shots. We will be starting Michael on yellow vegetables tomorrow or Friday...so I'm sure I'll have pictures from that event!

Weight - 19 lbs. 9 oz. (80%)

Height - 27 1/2 inches (80%)

Head - 18 1/4 inches (97%)

He's a big boy with an extra large head!

Michael is now down for a nap, and that is the only reason this post got done today! :o)
