We officially have a seven month old. That. Is. Wild. I was sitting next to our friends, Leah and Todd, who have a 12 week old son, Carson, at church this morning and I couldn't help but be a little sad as I watched Leah and Todd pass Carson back and forth. Carson is so tiny compared to Michael! Watching them just reinforced to me how quickly Michael has changed because it wasn't all that long ago we had a 12 week old.
Michael is tons of fun right now! He is rolling, rolling, rolling! Not really trying to crawl or pull up on furniture yet, but he is getting very close. He sits up very well all by himself now, and he is very interested in everything around him. He especially likes things he doesn't need to touch such as Mommy or Daddy's laptops and cell phones! We have moved into our 6-9 month clothes and some 12 month stuff as well. And he fills out a size 3 diaper very nicely, as evidenced by the photos below.
At seven months of age, Michael
loves eating his food
(thus far he eats baby oatmeal, pears, applesauce, squash, carrots, squash, and green beans)
is sooooo close to taking two naps a day
really wants to be on the move
babbles away in his bed when he wakes up in the morning
thinks Murphy is really funny
can sit in the front of the cart at the grocery and loves it
has started to recognize his name
has really turned into a happy baby
is still (and will always be) a sweet angel baby!

The boy WOULD NOT stay on his back long enough for me to place him and then take a picture. I would place him, get the camera ready, and then he'd roll over...grrr...
