Michael had his first homework assignment from StarChild Thursday night. It was handwriting practice. Do I think it is a little absurd they are doing handwriting practice in the 2 year old preschool class? Yes. Was I going to be that parent that didn't help her son with his homework? No. So, after dinner and bath time Thursday night, Michael and I sat down to complete the practice page. It was kind of hard for me since I'm right-handed and Michael does a majority of things with his left hand, but we got it done. I was a little embarrassed that I couldn't find a sharpened pencil in our house. I get so frustrated with my fifth graders when they do their homework in pen because they "didn't have a pencil at home." However, Michael is not elementary school-aged and we weren't given a supply list when he started back in August, so I didn't feel too badly about it. Anyway, it was kind of fun to do a little homework assignment with him!
