Michael's Friends

Michael got to spend some time two different Saturdays in March with his favorite friends. He's really started to enjoy playing with other kids in the last several months, so we are always excited when we get to get together with friends!

We had some couples from our life group over on a Saturday to watch some of the SEC basketball tournament. Noah and Lain are two of Michael's favorite kids. He always remembers to mention them in his prayers each night, which is pretty cute, but what makes it even cuter is that he calles Lain "Yain."

The kids table in the play room... Lain pulled the boys in the wagon to the playground across the street... Michael enjoyed sitting on this perch to watch Noah and Lain spin like crazy on the tire swing...he wanted nothing to do with it!

The following Saturday was Sophia's 2nd birthday party. She is the granddaughter of one of our neighbors so we usually see her once a week or so when they watch her. Michael loves Sophia. They hug, which melts my heart every time it occurs. Apparently, the feelings are mutual because her Papa told me all she talks about is Michael when she is at their house. Anyway, her party was at the clubhouse in our neighborhood which is next to a big playground. We spent the first part of the party there.

Michael wanted Mommy to ride the dinosaur, too...Michael finally built up some courage and rode the tire swing at this playground. However, he still wants nothing to do with the one at the playground by us. The big event of the party was an Easter Egg Hunt!

We have been blessed with meeting some really great families with really great kiddos!
