I have officially left the misery of my first trimester and have entered what everyone kept telling me would be the best time during my pregnancy: the second trimester! I must admit, there were many times in the last 15 weeks that I swore this would be our only child because I didn't think I would be able to make it through the morning/noon/night sickness again. However, now that my body has adjusted so has my mindset. Don't worry Mom, Dad, Pam, and Gary - there will be more grandchildren in the distant future from Kenneth and myself, as long as it's the Lord's plan!
Now, for what everyone has been anxiously awaiting (well, maybe just me): my baby bump! My students and teachers at school have been noticing my growing midsection, so I had Kenneth take a couple photos yesterday to document what everyone who sees me everyday has had the pleasure of seeing. Now, I'll be the first to tell you that I was a little disappointed by the pictures because I thought my baby bump was a little bit bigger. I guess since Baby Hamburg is only about four inches long and weighing in at a whopping two and a half ounces, he/she isn't going to cause too much of a bulge just yet. I am also frustrated with how red my face has become since I became pregnant...just another joy of pregnancy! On the bright side, I was very pleased with my new haircut! So, without any further adieu...
