27 Weeks

I am 27 weeks pregnant today! I've been feeling great! I did have swollen ankles last week, but I think that was due to being on my feet a lot with the end of the school year stuff. I am tired a lot, so I figure it's a blessing that I'll be off for the summer during my 3rd trimester. I'll be kickin' up my feet and relaxin' for the next 9 weeks!
Kenneth took these last night:

Kenneth has been in Orlando working for the Office of the Attorney General for the past two weeks, and I've been here finishing up my school year. He flew home on Friday night to spend the weekend here, which was wonderful! His parents came to Birmingham from Franklin, TN on Saturday to help us with preparing the nursery. Kenneth and his dad, Gary, hung new ceiling fans in the guest room and the nursery. They also put together the crib and set up the other furniture we have at the moment. I will post pictures of the nursery as soon as it is more complete. Kenneth's mom, Pam, and I went to the mall to buy some new maternity clothes that fit better than what I've got now. We also went through a bunch of baby clothes that I've received as gifts and as hand-me-downs and did 2 loads of Michael's laundry. It was a successful day!

Gary and Pam left Sunday morning. Kenneth and I went to church and then had a date afternoon. We went to Zaxby's for lunch (one of my favorites!) and then to see the new Indiana Jones movie. I had never seen any of the Indiana Jones movies, so this was a new adventure for me. I enjoyed it...it was entertaining, and I got to be off of my feet for a complete 2 hours or so!

I took Kenneth to the airport at 2:00 today, and now I'm all by myself again until June 9th, which is when I'll be heading down to Florida to join my honey for the rest of the summer!

Kenneth, I miss you already, but I will see you soon. Love you!
