I had my first baby shower this afternoon at my school, Gresham Elementary. Three very wonderful ladies hosted it for me - Amy Akin, another 5th grade teacher; Anna Nabors, a 1st grade teacher; and Lisa Long, last year's PTO President and always an awesome sub. Just in case I didn't say it enough today at the shower, thank you!
The end of the year gets so hectic, and it was so nice to get to spend some "fun" time at school with my colleagues. I have been very blessed by the friendships I have made at school, and I'm so very thankful for the camaraderie we share.
