I can't believe it has already been one month since Michael came into our world! Time is already flying by! He's outgrown his "Newborn" size clothes and has moved into the 0-3 month size, and I'm not sure how long he will fit into those with how long he is. Also, he has rather large feet...they already completely fit into the footed jammies he wears to bed. There is NO room for his feet to grow! Kenneth and I decided we'd just have to cut the toes out of the jammies so his feet wouldn't get crammed. :o) He has also moved out of the "Newborn" diapers and into size 1. The newborn diaper is on the left, and the size 1 is on the right (duh). Do you see the yellow line running down the front of the size 1 diaper? Well, it turns green when our little man wets his diaper or has a BM...it's like magic! No more sticking fingers in diapers and pulling out a surprise!
I ventured out with Michael all by myself today for the first time. We went to the Lactation clinic at St. Vincent's so that I could get some advice on breastfeeding. While we were there, the nurse weighed Michael. He weighed in at 9 lbs 9 oz with his clothes and diaper on, so my guess is his actual weight is close to 9 lbs 6 or 7 oz. I was very excited at how much weight he'd gained, especially since I've been in a lot of pain while he's been nursing. I was scared he may not be getting enough nourishment, but that wasn't the case. I got some great tips from the nurse, and I'm looking forward to more comfortable breastfeeding in the next few days.

ooh he is so cute. Yes he will soon be outgrowing everything! The whole size thing I think everything runs small for us we are in 9/12 mnth clothes.Proud of you for getting out with him, it is so scary at first but gets easier the more and more you do it. Love the pic of 2 your guys snoozing!
