Michael is two months today...I can't believe how fast time is flying! I still have almost two months left of my maternity leave, and I'm already feeling sad about it. I know it will all be okay, but I can't imagine not spending my days with him!
We have ventured out many times just the two of us since his one month, and it definitely does get easier the more we do it. He lately has not been a huge fan of his car seat...we're praying he outgrows that before our first car trip to my parents' house in Orlando for Thanksgiving. I also am not nursing anymore, which makes me sad. After pumping for a week or two and bottle feeding him the breast milk, he would get very frustrated when I went back to trying to nurse because the milk didn't come out as fast as the bottle. It was painful for me, and it made him mad, so I decided to stop nursing. My milk supply also decreased when I wasn't nursing him at all, so I am pumping and supplementing with formula...he usually gets 4 breast milk bottles and 4 formula bottles a day. I definitely miss the bond we shared his first month while I nursed him, and I miss the convenience of it. I feel like all I do now is wash bottles and pumping supplies! I hope it goes better with our next child.

Okay! Enough about breast milk...let's talk about Michael!
At two months of age, Michael...has started smiling...is eating about 24+ ounces a day...hates when it is time to burp during his feedings...is having a little trouble falling asleep on his own...loves to nap in Mommy and Daddy's arms...is still waking up twice to eat at night...is getting on an eat/wake/sleep schedule all by himself (which I tried to make him do during his first month, and it didn't work)...loves bath time, hates drying off time...is growing like a weed!
