Christmas with the Hamburgs

We spent the week of Christmas in Franklin, TN with Kenneth's family. There was tons of good eating, a lot of time spent with family, and wonderful gift giving. Judy, Ashley, and Melissa (Gary's sister, brother-in-law, and niece) came to Franklin to meet Michael and stayed from Monday night until Christmas morning. Then on Christmas day, Pam's extended family, Mar, Jade, Bruce, Carol, and Todd, came to meet Michael and eat lunch with us. Here is our Christmas week in photos...

Gary's sister, Judy, finally got to meet Michael!

Watching Michael play with an old school activity gym...

Christmas morning with my two sons...

I think Murphy was pretending that Michael wasn't even there...

Mar with Michael before Christmas lunch. Michael met Mar a while back and he fussed pretty much the entire time we were at her house. He behaved much better this time...no tears at all!

Murphy with Mar and Jade (Mar's daughter) with Michael.

Jade's husband, Bruce with Michael.

Pam's sister-in-law, Carol, and Michael.

Blair and Michael opening his Christmas present from Jade and Bruce.

We opened Christmas presents Christmas evening since family was coming and going for breakfast and lunch. Here are our stockings hung by the chimney with care...

About to open Michael's stocking presents...

The greatest stocking gift ever...a rubber ducky nativity set. Michael can't wait to be big enough to play with it during bath time next Christmas!

Go 'Dores!

I love this picture of Michael. He's looking at this cool book/blanket from Judy.

Burger Daddy and Pammy looking at the calendar Michael gave to them.

Pammy opening one of Murphy's gifts while he waits with anticipation in front of her...

Burger Daddy and Michael after all the gifts had been opened.

Check out my child's gorgeous profile...

The next morning Michael was complaining of blurred vision, so Pammy let him borrow her glasses...much better!
We hope that everyone was able to spend the holiday season with loved ones and remember the real reason for the season. A baby changes everything...
