Gammi, G-Dad, Kenneth, Michael, myself, and my parents' friends (the Steckles) headed to Daytona Beach Shores last Saturday for lunch at Crabby Joe's which is built on a boardwalk over the ocean. We didn't take Michael out to the water or even to the sand, but he really enjoyed the wind blowing through the outdoor restaurant. We also couldn't pass up a visit to Shake's (one our favorite frozen custard places that we used to go to in Franklin, TN before it closed there) before heading back to Apopka. We had a great day! I LOVE being close enough to the beach to go just for the day...we are in paradise!

His beach outfit has a fish attached to the bird's mouth and Michael discovered it about halfway through lunch. He thought it was tasty too!
