We made it! It was a LONG trip, but we made it! We left around 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday morning, and pulled into my parents' house around 6:30 p.m. Mom, myself, and Michael were very happy to be out of the car!
Here is the rundown of last week...
My last day of work was Tuesday, and that was when I had to turn in my laptop. Wednesday, Michael and I (i.e. I did the work while trying to keep Michael entertained at the same time) spent the day cleaning and getting the house ready to put on the market. Thursday I went to Pablo's with all of my Gresham people one last time. Kenneth flew in from Orlando that afternoon, and we worked NONSTOP to get the house ready. I don't even think I could list everything we did, but just trust me on the fact that a shower before bed was the highlight of Thursday and Friday for me! Saturday morning, my mom flew in from Orlando and Kenneth left that afternoon in a Budget truck full of my school stuff and other miscellaneous items. Mom came to help us finish up getting the house ready and to help me get Michael to Orlando. She and I also worked NONSTOP. It was so busy! We spent so much time getting the house ready, that I'm so glad we aren't living in it to mess it all up! Michael turned 10 months old Monday, and we met with a realtor (Donna Tyner - LOVE her!) that afternoon. Then we left Tuesday. Whew...it was a whirlwind!
And life in Orlando hasn't slowed down much either! I had an interview Wednesday morning with one of my mom's old principals, and that led to SIX more interviews! I had two today, one tomorrow, two Monday, and one Tuesday. God is good! Hopefully, I will get an offer quickly and not have to worry about it much longer.
Kenneth has been studying hard for the BAR. He has class everyday weekday from 9:00-1:00, and every once in a while, he will have class on Saturday and/or Sunday. I know he is looking forward to being done with the class and then being done with the BAR!
Here are some photos of our last few days in Birmingham and some photos of life since we've been here in Apopka...enjoy!
This was the only way I could get a picture of Michael's third tooth!
Happy boy while Mommy was busy cleaning...
I had to take a break...just look at those baby blues!
Michael's last time in the jumper before we took it apart to put in storage... :o(

The Gresham crew at Pablo's...I miss you all already!
Michael had a good time eating his food at Salvatore's after church on Sunday! (That is a smooch mark from his Gammi on his forehead.)

Brotherly love...
This was on our way to Apopka. He played with this McDonald's cup for the last half of the trip. It was a lifesaver!
