(I know I'm a little behind...bear with me while I play catch up.)
We went to an Easter Outreach at our church on Saturday. We got there just in time for Michael to participate in his first Easter Egg Hunt! Then, he got a treat from the Easter Bunny.
The eggs were hidden in really hard-to-find places. I thought he looked really cute walking around carrying his basket. Kenneth and I got everything ready the night before. You might even see a couple of "hidden" eggs waiting to be found Easter morning!
Michael getting to see his Easter goodies for the first time...
He even got to eat a 3 Musketeers at 8:45 in the morning! Life is good! Waiting to eat lunch at Mimi's Cafe... Our Family Photo - Easter 2010
Michael ended up hunting for the eggs when we got home from lunch. He woke up too late to hunt before church.
Finding candy in one of the eggs!
It was a Milky Way, and it made him make funny faces because of the caramel.
Shoving that last bite in...mmm...mmm...mmm...
Milky Way Face!
Kenneth took Michael out for his first golf lesson. Check out that form!
Then we played with his Easter bubbles...
It was a wonderful weekend! We were able to spend a lot of time with friends and with our little family of three. We also sang "In Christ Alone" at church, which I think a lot of churches did that day. It is one of my absolute favorite praise songs, and it really hits home on Easter Sunday. Here is a video with the lyrics...
