** This is going to be long and contain too many photos **
My spring break didn't officially begin until Friday, March 26, but it really began on Thursday since Friday was a teacher work-day. Thursday night, we went to LifeGroup to grill out and watch basketball. Lain and Noah have this little picnic table out on their patio, so Michael got to dine al fresco with his little buddies.
Michael and I drove to Birmingham Friday once I could leave work. Here is Michael throwing his sippy cup - this was four minutes into the trip.
I only got this picture in Birmingham. Pammy and Burger met Michael and me at our place to help pack. We got an offer, accepted, and closed yesterday!! Anyway, this is Michael opening his Easter bag from Pammy and Burger. His first coloring book!
We left Birmingham Monday and headed to Atlanta. This was Tuesday morning during breakfast. Michael and I were leaving that morning to head to Daytona to spend the rest of the week there. Can you tell that Michael thinks Harrison is hilarious?
I didn't get any photos of Max, but he is growing and is such a doll!
When we got to my parents' condo Tuesday, I gave Michael the keys once we got inside. I left the front door open because there is a screened patio, and Michael and Murphy were content running in and out. Anywho, I turned around and saw Michael doing this with the keys - he's such a genius!
Lately, Michael has started giving people "the eye." It's hilarious. He won't move his head at all, and he will only move his eyes. I finally caught it on camera, but it still doesn't do it justice.
Driving his "choo choo" on the sliding glass door.
Wednesday afternoon, we ventured to the beach by ourselves. I say ventured because it's quite an adventure to get there from the condo. Down some stairs to the parking garage (which is underneath the building), through the parking garage to the pool, back up some stairs to the pool, around the pool to some more stairs that lead to the beach. It took me about fifteen minutes to make sure I had everything that I might possibly need. Then, we made the trek, which took about 20 minutes since I couldn't carry Michael and the stuff I was bringing with us. We FINALLY got to the beach, and Michael put on the brakes. Awesome. We sat about as far away from the water as you can get. He ate his snack, drank some juice, poked at the sand with his shovel, and then walked back to the stairs that lead back up to the pool. So we stayed for all of 20 minutes. Kenneth asked me later if we were going to go again Thursday. Any guesses on if we went back?
Here he is on his way to the stairs that were probably about 10 feet behind me. I took this so you could see how far from the water we were. Our towel is the one to the left behind Michael.
Thursday morning, we played out back with his tee ball set.
I took this so you could see the ocean (in the distance) - Michael is standing outside my parents' unit.
I think this is my favorite picture of Michael from our vacation.
When Michael woke up from his nap on Thursday, we met Kenneth for lunch. I took a couple of photos of Kenneth's office - it's on the second floor above the YARN shop.
I took this standing underneath his office. This is the view from the front windows. Look at all those palm trees!
Kenneth was off on Good Friday. We went for a walk on the beach that morning, and Michael liked to watch his shadow.
I love that you can see the curls in his shadow!
After Michael woke up from his nap, we walked down S. Atlantic to North Turn to enjoy lunch on the beach. I love taking photos of Kenneth and Michael walking together and holding hands. Michael looks so little next to his daddy.
