Our good, good friends, Melissa and Trevor Shepard, were at her parents' beach house just North of Daytona for the week of July 4th, so we drove over to the coast the evening Michael and I got back from Sanibel and enjoyed a nice dinner at Caribbean Jack's, which is on the Halifax River. I was so excited to see Melissa because she's pregnant with her second boy due to arrive November 21st. She looked great! We also got to fill them in on the fact that we'll be a family of four in February (I was nine weeks pregnant)...I love that we got to see each other when we were both pregnant since they live in Santa Monica, CA. We took several photos...it's rather difficult getting a 14 month old and an almost 3 year old to look at the same camera at the same time!
This shot would have been perfect if Michael's eyes were open!
We are so excited to see pictures of sweet baby Porter when he makes his arrival! And we're looking forward to introducing our newest additions to each other next summer when the Shepards make their next trip to the Sunshine State!
