Baby Sarah is named after my Mimi. Mimi waited 29 years to have a grandchild named after her. I was her first granddaughter, and two other granddaughters followed me. None of us are named Sarah. When we found out Sarah was going to be a Sarah, Mimi was the first person I called to let her know that a new Sarah would be entering the world in February. She was absolutely elated! Mimi is quite the lady...she has big shoes that Baby Sarah will have to fill!
Mimi made it to the hospital Friday afternoon to meet Sarah for the first time. Kenneth took these pictures, and I love them. They totally capture Mimi's awe at her great granddaughter, Sarah.
