Five Months

I'm posting this a little out of order, but I figured I needed to get it done since Sarah will be six months this Thursday...where does the time go?!

Sarah did not have a five month check up, so I have no stats.  But let me tell you...she is a big girl!  My biceps could prove that! :)

We are still working on consistently sleeping through the night.  Most nights, she will sleep from 7:30 or so until 6:00ish, but every once in a while, she'll wake up sometime between 2:00 and 4:00.  If Michael did that, we could just stick the paci back in his mouth, and he would go right back to sleep.  Sarah is not that easy to please in the middle of the night.  When we get to her room, she smiles really big thinking we're going to get her out.  When she realizes she's only going to get the paci, she SCREAMS.  We usually end up getting her up and giving her a small feeding to help calm her back down.  We'll see how much longer I do that once I go back to work!

At five months of age, Sarah...

takes five 6 ounce bottles.

rolls immediately onto her belly when I lay her down on her back.

gets MAD when she rolls onto her belly and can't roll back to her back.

usually takes 3 naps a day.

wears size 2 diapers.

wears 3-6 month clothes.

likes to exersaucer more and more.

has started to show a lot of interest in teething toys.

chews on her paci.

is still our precious, sweet, angel baby girl!

Big brother wanted into the photo shoot...

I took a double-take when I saw this photo.  She looks so much like Michael when he was this age in this one.  I think it's the hairline that got me.
