Nine Months

Nine months has brought lots of new things! Crawling has been the main nine month event, and it's very exciting! This is a very fun stage, but my, oh my, it is rather tiring! Michael is starting to look like a little boy, which is a little bittersweet. However, he is such a beautiful little boy that it's definitely more sweet than bitter! Michael will have his nine month well visit with Dr. Dudgeon on Tuesday, so I'll post his current stats later this week.

At nine months of age, Michael...

crawls

kind of pulls up on furniture and in the bathtub

still eats his solids great

gets a little shy/quiet in new places or around new people

moved up to size 4 diapers

doesn't think he needs to be still during diaper changes

takes two naps a day (finally!)

loves cheerios

wears mainly 12 month or 12-18 month clothes

would rather crawl around and play on the floor than in his jumper/exersaucer

still spits up quite a bit

has precious blonde curls

loves going for walks in his stroller

loves bath time (his favorite part is when Kenneth turns the water on to rinse him)

is still a sweet angel baby!

Ralph Jeffrey and Michael at nine months of age...

Oh goodness...these pictures were quite an ordeal this month! Michael would not stay on his back...and then once he flipped to his belly, he would immediately get on all fours to crawl!

He was very interested in Ralph Jeffrey this month...definitely more so than any previous month.

These photos were quite a chore as well as the floor pictures. He kept grabbing RJ and moving him. Kenneth and I were making all kinds of noises to get him to look at us, but (as you can see) it didn't work! I guess this was only a preview of what is to come with a baby approaching toddler-hood!
