Christmas Morning

Can you tell I'm having a very exciting New Year's?! Three blog updates!! It doesn't get any wilder than this! Okay...on with the post!

I don't think I need to describe what happened too much. We were up about 7:15. Michael didn't really know what was going on, but Harrison sure did! He'd slept in Gammi and G-Dad's room, and Gammi had to pretty much sit on him to keep him from running out to the living room before G-Dad woke up his Mommy and Daddy so they could get the video camera set up. Santa brought him a motorcycle, and he was pretty pumped. Michael got a Little People Amusement Park, Scout (this little dog that you can program to say your child's name and all kinds of other things), a UF hat, a Vandy hat, a new Vandy shirt, and a bunch of goodies in his stocking. Michael still didn't really get how to open presents, but he got excited whenever he saw what was inside. Harrison wanted to open everyone's gifts! :o) It amazing what a difference a couple of years can make!

We had a wonderful Christmas morning with Gammi, G-Dad, Michael, Max, Harrison, Uncle Craig, and Aunt Jenny! It is a lot of fun being a parent at Christmas, and I know that will only get better as Michael begins to understand it more. Merry Christmas!

About 0.2 seconds after this was taken, the motorcycle toppled.
Harrison got a set of "Bubba Teeth" in his stocking, so his mom and dad joined the fun...

Striking a pose with his new Gator hat...
The child wouldn't sit still for a second...

Michael's new dump truck. His name is Chuck, and he talks...
He got a new cool shape sorter from his Meems...

A new puzzle from Gammi and G-Dad...
This was his big gift from Gammi and G-Dad...
It's like a driving video game for toddlers...
We didn't open it right away, so Michael figured he'd climb on it...
This was later on Christmas day once we'd opened it, and Kenneth put it together. He loves it!Harrison got Hungry, Hungry Hippos, and Michael was drawn to the noise.
He joined in the fun!

We were blessed to be able to spend part of my Christmas break with both sides of our family. In my opinion, Christmas really is the most wonderful time of the year!
