We spent Thanksgiving week in Franklin, TN with Kenneth's family. We detoured through Birmingham on our way there to go by our townhouse to get some winter clothes and see a few old friends. It was a wonderful week! Here is our week in pictures...
Sunday morning at our old church, Crossbridge. This is the minister, Garry, and his wife, Carol. They are such a wonderful couple, and we miss them dearly. We put Michael in a sweater vest because we knew Garry would wear one! They matched!
After church, we went to Momma Goldberg's with some of our LifeWalk Group friends. This is Carson, Leah and Todd's son, who was Michael's buddy when we lived in Bham. Michael was showing Carson how to throw a ball...
We made it to Franklin on Sunday evening, and Michael enjoyed some homemade mac 'n cheese for dinner. It was the first time he hadn't it out of a box, and he loved it!
On Monday morning, Burger made Hermits (which are a traditional Christmas/Summer Beach trip treat with the Hamburg crew, but since we will be in Florida over Christmas, Gary made some for us to enjoy over Thanksgiving). Michael was a big help...
I was getting Michael dressed to go over to my best friend's (from Lipscomb) house for dinner, and I hadn't gotten his pants on yet. We were all cracking up at this outfit before he got the pants on!
Michael and his Aunt Kates...thanks for having us for dinner, Katie and Justin!
(And thanks to Maybel for letting Michael throw her toys all over your house!)
On Tuesday, we went to visit Leigh and Dillon and their new daughter, Rowan. Kenneth went to high school with Leigh and Dillon, and Rowan is such an angel! This picture was the only time I didn't hog her all to myself!
On Wednesday, Michael got to spend some time outside because the sun finally decided to shine...
Taking Murphy for a stroll in the wagon, which you can tell Murphy really enjoyed by how relaxed and secure he looks in this photo...
After the wagon ride, Murphy took Michael for a stroll down the street...
Before his nap, he gave some love to Yoyo, Blair's puppy...
Pammy taught Michael how to sit on the bottom step at their house. He kept wanting to go upstairs, so she taught him that he was only allowed to sit on the bottom step. It was seriously so cute...
This was Thanksgiving day. We went to Turner and Betty's house in Decatur, AL. Turner is Pam's cousin. I waited a little too long to take photos, but I thought he looked so cute in this rocking chair! He was definitely over it...
This is Miriam...another precious baby girl. She is the daughter of one of Kenneth's cousins, Scott and Meredith.
