Franklin Trip

(This first part is boring, but I wanted to include it to remember the logistics of our trip, which were very confusing.)

Pammy came to visit my last week of school to watch Michael. She, Kenneth, and Michael left Thursday of that week to drive to Franklin for wedding festivities of one of Kenneth's high school friends. Friday was my last teacher workday, so I flew up that afternoon. We had a great weekend visiting with Kenneth's old friends. Kenneth flew home Sunday night, and Michael and I stayed until Thursday.

Okay...onto the good stuff...pictures! I didn't take as many as I wanted to, but here they are...

We always have to make a family trip to Otter's --- it's of Kenneth and my favorites!
Michael has decided that he wants whatever kind of cups/glasses we have when we're at a restaurant...
Tony and Kenneth with Tony's daughter, Sophie. This was the first time we got to meet Sophie since Tony and his wife, Casey, live in Indiana. Casey brought her to the wedding, and I was so excited she did!
The Hamburgs with Mr. and Mrs. Robbie Lazear...
A wedding tradition in Robbie's family...
We found out that Yo Yo (Blair's dog) enjoys chasing and eating bubbles while blowing some of the wedding bubbles for Michael the next morning...
I met some of my girls (Julia, Katie, Elizabeth, Melissa, and Beth - who is growing baby boy #2 right now!) for dinner at Chuy's in Cool Springs Monday night. Michael really did have a good time, even though you can't tell by his face in this picture! Pammy came and picked him up soon after this so that I could stay. I'm so glad she did that because we stayed until 10:00!
Burger took Michael swimming at the neighborhood pool. This lasted for...oh, I don't know...ten minutes...maybe? Michael is not a huge fan of the pool just yet. Not scared but definitely a little weary of it.
They went to the playground when they got out, which thrilled Michael to pieces...
Happy Birthday, Burger!
We were there for Burger's 21st birthday. :o)
We went to McCreary's, which is an Irish pub on Main Street in Downtown Franklin. Gary gets Guinness there because they stamp a clover in the foam...if you look closely, you can see it.
Michael was a little tired after eating his dinner...
But he perked right up when dessert came...bread pudding!
That's all from Franklin - we had a wonderful time! Not sure when we will be back, but we always look forward to trips there as we always get to see family and good friends as well.
