Sarah's two month stats:
12 lbs 2 oz - 75th-90th percentile
24 inches - 90th percentile
We've got a big girl!
Michael came along with us to Sarah's well-visit because he'd had a fever and tummy issues for a few days, so both of my kiddos got to see the doctor that day. I was a bit nervous taking both kids, but they did very well! Michael apparently had some kind of virus, so no medicine for him since it would just need to run its course. Sarah looked great and was a good patient until she had to get FOUR shots. Oh my word...it made me so sad! She ended up sleeping for quite a while after the appointment, but then had kind of a rough afternoon. I was worried about how she would sleep that night, and guess what she did. She slept 8 hours!!!! She's done it several nights since then as well. I couldn't believe it, and I still can't! We were still up twice a night with Michael at this age. So, life at the Hamburg's has gotten a tad bit more organized and we're working on finding a new normal.
At two months of age, Sarah...
is waking up once at night to eat
is doing better with napping without being held but not quite where we'd like for her to be with that
still sleeps/naps best when swaddled
takes seven 3 to 3.5 ounce bottles a day
smiles when full and happy
still snoozes between each feeding during the day
is more content for longer periods of time while she's awake
is still my angel doll baby!
