Easter

Easter was so fun this year!  

Michael is totally into the Easter Bunny.  He said some of the cutest things when he woke up Sunday morning.  He was up about 6:45, and he came downstairs with an egg in his hand that he found in his room when he woke up.  He came to our door and whispered, "The Easter Bunny came to my house!"  We sent him back upstairs to get his basket from outside of his bed room and Sarah's from outside of her room.  It wasn't until he came downstairs and I was taking pictures that we noticed he only had one slipper on. :)

As he was sorting through his goods, he found a bag of Cadburry Mini Eggs, which he knows are his daddy's favorite because we got him some for his birthday back in March.  When he saw them, he said, "Daddy!  The Easter Bunny brought something for you!"  So sweet!  He also though the Olivia book in Sarah's basket was for him since "Sarah can't read!"

What can I say...the boy takes after his daddy and struggles keeping his eyes open in photos!

Graham and Michael were almost twins!  Can you tell Michael was really excited to be taking yet another picture?

We went to my parents' house for Easter dinner later that night.  Sarah changed into a more comfy Easter outfit from her Aunt Jenny.

It was a fantastic Easter!  However, we definitely need to work on the real Easter story with Michael.  He thinks Easter is all about hunting for eggs and getting candy.  We're looking forward to next Easter as Sarah will be able to hunt for some eggs!
