Kenneth Got a Job!!

Just wanted to let y'all (all 3 of you that read my blog) that Kenneth got a job! He got a call last Tuesday to interview on Wednesday. Then he got another call on Thursday to see if he could come in that day for a 2nd interview. When he got there, they offered him the job! He will be working for the Office of Criminal and Civil Conflict Council. We haven't actually gotten a chance to talk about it too much because we were busy visiting a local day care when I got home from work, then we went to life group, and then he flew out to Nashville with Michael on Friday. What I do know is that he will be representing parents in dependency cases, which are cases where they are having their children taken away. He interviewed in Orlando, but the job is in Daytona. It is right off of S. Beach Street in a really neat part of Downtown Daytona. For the time being, we're going to stay where we are. Kenneth will be driving about 50 miles to and from work, and I'll continue my 30 mile commute as well. We'll look into other options once the school year is over. We're just so thrilled he finally has a job! This will be the first time since we've been married that we'll be a two income family! God is good!

All the black area is water (intracoastal waters)...aren't you glad that isn't what the water looks like when you are looking at it from up close? It's so much clearer and prettier than in this picture.
