Last Tuesday (March 9), Kenneth started his first day at work and Michael started his first day at StarChild Academy. It was a momentous day for all of us! I was pretty proud of myself - I didn't even cry!
Here we all are - Kenneth was all suited up for work, Michael was dressed for his 1st day of "school," and I was about to leave for work.
Kenneth took Michael that morning since he doesn't have to be at work until 8:30. I sent him with the camera to snap a photo of Michael in his classroom. I was going to ask for a photo with his teacher, but I thought that might be pushing it with Kenneth. :o)
Michael has adjusted pretty well to being in daycare for a majority of his day. The only times he struggles during the day is at drop off and when he wakes up from his nap. Each day gets better, and better, so I'm thinking this week will be great. He actually has a harder time at home once he's been picked up. He's become REALLY clingy, and we're definitely in the full-blown attachment phase. I do the pick-up on most days, which I LOVE because he gets SO excited when I walk in the room. When I picked him up this past Thursday, Miss Nicole, one of the teachers I had not met until then, told me that Michael was their new favorite. I love that my child is the teacher's pet ! :o)
