Michael got his first set of Duplos (aka jumbo legos) for Christmas from Pammy and Burger. One day over Christmas break, Michael fell face first on one. I wasn't there when it happened, and when I got home he was down for his nap. When I got him up, I thought he'd scratched his eye with one of his too-long fingernails (I know I should cut them more often, but it was so much easier when he was smaller!) during his nap. Once I found out it was from a Duplo, it made more sense based on the shape of the booboo. We thought it might turn his eye black, but it never did.
Here is one angle. You can tell it was one of the three-by-two duplos.

Another close-up. Do you see the scratch just above his nose? That is actually from his too-long fingernails.
He looked a little rough for a couple of days, but it healed pretty quickly, and all is back to normal around his little eye.
