I LOVE real Christmas trees. When I was growing up, we had an artificial tree, and I always wanted to go to a Christmas tree lot and pick out a real one. Now that I have my own little family, that is what we do! We picked out a tree this year at the high school where Michael will go if we stay where we are. The proceeds benefited the Lake Brantley High School Athletic Department, so we figured (or hoped) we were contributing to a program Michael would eventually be involved in. We let the branches fall for a couple of days and then decorated one night before Michael went to bed.
