Thanksgiving - Part 2

We spent the rest of Thanksgiving week at home and at my parents' house. This was our first holiday since we've been married that we didn't have to travel to be with family. It was nice to be able to stay at home for a change! I also was able to contribute to the meal this year since I had access to my own kitchen. I made my mom's Sweet Potato Souffle because it is my favorite dish for Thanksgiving.
Michael was super excited for Wednesday night because his favorite cousins (who win that by default) were going to be at Gammi and G-Dad's house!

We invited Brianna, one of Jenn's friends from her middle school days in San Diego. She lives in Tampa with her husband who is the Coast Guard and had to spend Thanksgiving in the Bahamas.

Enjoying some lovely Florida weather!
A Christmas Card photo attempt. Michael refused to look or smile in any of the photos...
Gammi with her two youngest grandboys...
It didn't end well for Max...
A Golf card game tournament ended out evening, which I won!

And to end our Thanksgiving portion of this post, here is a video of Harrison and Michael playing their own version of Golf.

Friday night, Mimi continued the tradition of taking her grandkids to the Melting Pot as our Christmas present.

Group photo before leaving. Thanks Mimi! It was a blast just like last year!
I always enjoy holidays mainly for the time we get to spend with family but also because we always do some really good eating!
