Christmas Week

My last day was December 17th (hallelujah!), so I've been off the entire week. And it has been busy! We had our first dining room set delivered Monday, Tuesday was Kenneth' Christmas luncheon at his office (I made two pumpkin rolls, which are delicious but quite labor intensive!), and my parents and Mimi and Uncle Joe came over to do the Richards' Christmas Wednesday night. Pheww! It involved a lot of cooking and cleaning, but Michael and I were able to squeeze in some quality play time as well!

Merry Christmas to us! Kenneth and I didn't do gifts for each other this year. We opted to get dining room furniture since this is the first place we've lived since we've been married that actually had a separate dining room...I love it!

Our dining furniture was put to use quickly. We had everyone over to our house, and we got to host our first Christmas at our very own house! We even used our china and crystal that hasn't been used since we've been married. I had to wash all of it because most of it was still wrapped in cellophane and bubble wrap!
